WATCH Day 6 Winners & Losers: Novak Has a Meltdown, Picks Himself Back Up

PARIS -- The emotional theme continued here in Paris on Friday as we saw Horacio Zeballos show some sportsmanship when he carried David Goffin's bag off the court after the No. 10 seed Goffin caught his foot on the tarp at the back of the court, forcing him to retire. Elsewhere, down 2 sets to 1, defending champ Novak Djokovic had a meltdown moment in the fourth set, which he used to summon his game that had deserted him.

After finding out that his injured opponent Goffin had retired, Zeballos went over to Goffin's chair and picked up his bag, leaving the court carrying his and Goffin's bags.

Rafael Nadal gave Nikoloz Basilashvili a clay court clinic as he gave up one game en route to the fourth round.

Unlike Nadal who had an easy match, Djokovic was forced to dig deep dug after he lost his cool as he clawed his way past Diego Schwartzman, who led 2 sets to 1 before Djokovic ran away with the match 5-7 6-3 3-6 6-1 6-1.

Venus Williams, the oldest woman in the draw at 36, cruised into the fourth round with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Elise Mertens, a woman who's 15 years younger than Williams.

It looks like Defending champ Garbine Muguruza's game is starting to click as advanced to the fourth round after a 7-5 6-2 win over Yulia Putintseva.

Down 5-2 in the third, the home crowd helped home favorite Kristina 'Kiki' Mladenovic to fight her way past American Shelby Rogers 7-5 4-6 8-6.
