My Tennis Life's Nicole Gibbs announced she will be taking a few weeks from tennis to rehab and get ready for Roland Garros and the remainder of the tennis season.
"I've decided with my coach and my doctor that I'm going to be pulling out of my next couple of events and taking a few weeks off tennis to make sure that my body is in top condition for the remainder of the season," announced Nicole dejectedly.
"So I will not be competing in Monterrey or Indian Harbour," said NIcole.
This is crushing news for the American as she was gearing up to head to Mexico where she was set to compete at the Abierto Monterrey next week.
"The goal right now is to be back a few weeks before Paris," she stated. "One or two weeks before Paris to prep for the French Open."
This means that the My Tennis Life star will be out of commission for at least a month.
Looking forward to seeing Nicole back soon at Roland Garros!
