In this edition of TenniStory presented by TennisExpress, Albert Costa reflects on his 2002 Roland Garros victory.
Ranked No. 20, Costa won Roland Garros after a long tour title drought. En route to his maiden and only Grand Slam, he defeated two time defending-champion and former world No. 1 Gustavo Kuerten in the fourth round, fellow Spaniard and former No. 2 Alex Corretja in the semifinals, and future No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero in the final.
