I have seen nothing great about The Tennis Channel and I'm sorry I kept after Directv to carry it! There are Tennis Tournaments going on right now. But are we getting to see them--NO! I'm sorry I thought TTC was for watching tennis? If the programming doesn't improve, TTC won't be on Directv very long it will be dropped!

I loved the Tennis Channel on Direct TV. Especially during the Slams. I had six channels of matches to chose from.

I've moved and now have Time Warner Cable. I had to buy an extra tier to get it and I hope but don't know how they will be airing the slams.

Be happy with Direct TV, I recall it was awesome.

I am sure it's the same as Dish as there is only 1 Tennis Channel.  I am very happy with it, shows the matches when they are on.  When there are no matches they use fillers, reruns of old matches, and interviews, etc.  Talk to the AT&T Uverse subscribers, they don't get TTC, and emails to both go unaswered as to when it will be carried.  I will stay with Dish until they drop it, then go to DirecTV if they still carry it. With AT&T possibly buying Dish, and the lack of it TTC on AT&T Uverse now, you will probably see me and a few others migrate to DirecTV or local Cable.  TTC has contracts with both, so I doubt it will just go away over night.

From a post on the U-Verse Forum:

The AT&T executive who is response for programming (and getting the Tennis Channel) is Chris Lauricella.  His email is chris.lauricella@att.com.  I would suggest that you and all those who want the Tennis Channel start an email campaign to him demanding that he add the Tennis Channel to the AT&T lineup.

I just confirmed with an AT&T employee who works for U-Verse that Mr. Lauricella is indeed in charge of programming decisions -- I'll be sending him a message soon, and I hope everyone else does the same.
