Tennis Channel on Directv

Interesting article. Says DTV will have multi-court coverage of French Open as a free preview. TTC will launch full time in the fall.

I know Directv will be working with TTC on the FO, but I haven't heard anything about a launch for full time. I hope it is true!

I am a DirecTV subscriber and also want the Tennis Channel like many of you. While I was attending the US Clay Court Tournament in Houston, TX., on 4/13/07, I stopped by the Tennis Channel tent that was promoting the station. I asked them if they will ever be on DirecTV. They confirmed what others having been saying. That DirecTV will partner with the Tennis Channel for the French Open and then the station will become a permanent offering on 8/1/07. Let's hope!!!!

Wow I hope so! The 8/1/07 date is the earliest date that I have come across anywhere :) But while I know it is early yet neither Directv nor The Tennis Channel is really making a big deal about the FO or the full time pick up of TTC :( I really think they should be!
