It was another good week for me on the grass, this time in llkley. I had received a special exempt into the draw and managed to take advantage and make the semi finals for the second week in a row.
When I'm having a good week, I become a real creature of habit. Ilkley is a small town, but it still has plenty of nice restaurants and food options. I wouldn't really know though. For the six days that we were there, I ate the same breakfast at the same cafe, the same lunch at the courts, and the same dinner before every match.
After the semi final it was straight in the car and a drive down to London to our apartment for Wimbledon. We have a place close to the All England Club, and once again it's nice to be out of a hotel room for a couple of weeks.
Qualifying starts Monday and I play Simone Bolelli. It's nice coming in playing good tennis, and I can't wait to get out there and compete.
